Description

The Burgas – Alexandroupoli Pipeline (BAP) has been a controversial geostrategic energy project for he past 20 years. The Greek section of the project includes an onshore pipeline of 125km and a tank farm of around 1.2 million m³, was designed to occupy an area of approximately 95 hectares. The loading facilities included a small section of onshore loading lines, approximately 11km of offshore loading lines and 2 singles Point Moorings for Oil Tankers. A small marine facilities installation located at the harbor of Alexandroupoli providing necessary support, maintenance and emergency equipment was also part of the project scope. ASPROFOS also carried out the Environmental Impact Assessment and reviewed of the technical documentation for the Owner.
