Third PVC Drying Line

A third PVC Drying Line Unit was implemented in the existing PVC drying facilities, to account for production increase. The drying line comprised specialized equipment arranged in a multi level enclosed building with space limitations, which provided a compact but optimal setting, eliminating operating difficulties.
The Drying line operation accounted for the following:
- Separation of solids (PVC grains) from the liquid phase
- Flash drying of PVC cake
- Separation of product from the drying air
- Separation of oversize particles and agglomerates from the product.
ASPROFOS’s scope of work involved Detailed Engineering, Procurement of equipment, civil works, construction supervision, expediting and supply of equipment and materials, as well as commissioning and start-up assistance.
