PROJECT SYNOPSIS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Revamping of existing U-3400 aimed at the decrease of sulphur content of gas oil from 50ppm to 10ppm. The Basic Design was prepared by UOP. In addition, the design entailed a new self cleaning feed filtering system was installed as requested by HELPE/AIC.
ASPROFOS SERVICES
- ASPROFOS supplied project management / project control and procurement / inspection-expediting services, as well as complete detailed engineering for the entire scope of the revamping works in U-3400.
- In addition it was required for ASPROFOS to entail follow-up of the basic design, i.e. reply to UOP queries, review of intermediate submissions, participation to PID’s/HAZOP review meetings, etc. In addition, early engineering / procurement activities relevant to reactor K-3402 which is the longest delivery item involved.
- Due to further requirements ASPROFOS was involved in the detailed engineering and procurement services regarding the new feed filtration system.
- On site during the construction and shut – down phase ASPROFOS supplied construction supervision, planning and support to construction supervision services at the Aspropyrgos Refinery.
