Scope of work:
The Bentonite Drying Plant Automation Project involves the automation of the existing fluidized bed dryer units, so as to minimize operator intervention, optimize operating parameter stability and provide monitoring / control functionality in the Control Room, ensuring product output uniformity and repeatability.
The following main areas of control / monitoring form the project:
- Fluidized bed inlet air temperature control
- Fluidized bed inlet air control
- Control of fluidized bed differential pressure
- End product moisture content control based on Online Analysis and Temperature measurement.
- Remote operation of feed diverters
Monitoring of other parameters such as flue gas temperature and dew point, fuel temperature, pressure and flow parameters, and feed conveyor speed.
