LNG Receiving Terminal

Scope of work:
The LNG receiving terminal of DEPA will receive Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Algeria. LNG will be stored in two tanks, 65,000 m3 each, and regasified for export to the Greek National Gas Grid System. The initial normal sendout will be 96 m3/h (equivalent LNG volume) with an emergency peak sendout of 407 m3/h. the final normal sendout will be 106 m3/h with an emergency peak sendout of 831 m3/h.
Asprofos’s scope of work involved:
- basic design
- technical assistance to the owner for issuance of permits
- preparation of detailed technical tender documents for EPC contracts and technical evaluation of bids
- review/approval of contractor’s detail design
- construction supervision
- technical assistance during precommissioning, commissioning, start-up
