Ptolemais District Heating

Scope of work:
The District Heating System (capacity 60 Gcal/h) is consists of the following sectors:
- Pipe lines for heating medium transportation from the PPC station to the city of Ptolemais and back. Double insulated pipeline system, Ö400 diameter each, 5 km in distance.
- Three pump stations for the heating medium circulation, transportation and distribution, with a capacity of 1300 m3/h each.
- Distribution system-underground, primary and secondary distribution network in the town. Total length of 25 km, double preinsulated pies with diameters from Ö25 up to Ö400.
- Erection of 7 substations for the heating medium distribution and circulation inside the town to and from the district heating consumers. Procurementand installation of the regulation units at the consumers’ premises.
Asprofos’s scope of work involved:
- preparation of international call for bids for basic design, detailed engineering, procurement and erection on LSTK basis, management of bidding and bids evaluation
- management of LSTK contractor.
