Asprofos is the largest engineering firm in Greece, fully owned by HELLENIC PETROLEUM GROUP (www.hellenic-petroleum.gr).

Asprofos was established in April 1983 by Hellenic Aspropyrgos Refinery (ELDA) and Foster Wheeler Italiana, in order to provide engineering services for the upgrading and expansion of the state-owned Aspropyrgos Refinery. 

In 1988, upon completion of the ELDA upgrading project, Asprofos became a fully owned ELDA subsidiary. As an independent company operating in accordance with internationally acceptable standards and practices, Asprofos expanded its scope of activities and established a good reputation.
