Natural Gas
As of 1988 the Company has entered into the Natural Gas sector covering a wide spectrum of services regarding Natural Gas Transmission Systems, LNG storage, LNG gasification and CNG stations.
At the late eighties, a Public Company was established in Greece (DEPA) for the development of Natural Gas System of Greece. ASPROFOS being the Engineer of DEPA has offered all relevant services and studies including Project Management, feasibility studies, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Land Acquisition, Environmental and Social Impact Studies, Permitting and Authority Engineering, Procurement, Construction Supervision, Contract Administration, and Project Close Out services for the whole Natural Gas System being in operation in Greece, comprising of:
- High Pressure pipelines of approximately 1.500 kms throughout the mountainous and seismically active Greek terrain, with diameters varying from 10 to 36 inches.
- Two Boarding Metering Stations,
- Operation and Maintenance Buildings and Control Rooms
- Metering station
- Metering and Reduction Stations and City Gates
- Line Valve and Scraper Stations,
- Compressor Station,
- Medium Pressure pipelines of approx. 400 kms,
- LNG storage and gasification units
- Combined Cycle Power Plants
- Compressed Natural Gas stations
Following the development of low pressure networks for domestic use at the late nineties, ASPROFOS has provided all services as above, for M/R Stations 19 bar/4 bar, low pressure network and compressor stations.
Thus the company has extensive experience in all aspects related to Natural Gas starting from the High pressure up to the domestic use.
