Organization Studies

ASPROFOS during the past decade has undertaken and successfully implemented organization / reorganization studies in various organizations and companies.

ASPROFOS has developed and implemented a particular method for reorganizing business entities and state agencies, whose main steps are:

  • Benchmarking the performance of the organization with its competitors (other companies in the same industry or other similar government agencies). This assessment (using a set of indicators) highlight areas that will require larger changes.
  • Identification of critical factors (CFS), whose improvement would mean a significant increase in operational capacity of the organization.
  • Developing proposals for improving these factors.
  • Implementation process of developing ideas in collaboration with top officials of the Agency / Customer on proposals developed by ASPROFOS.
  • Evaluation of the proposals shortlisted by the Customer.
  • -Planning the transition to the new situation on a Project basis and application of project management techniques for its implementation.

The completion of the reorganization is always accompanied with the tools that will help the new organizational and operational shape to function.

These tools are:

  • Developing a system management by objectives (MBO).
  • Adoption of appropriate performance indicators in each section.
  • Development of adequate system performance incentives for staff.
  • Develop a plan to create corporate culture.
  • Create group indices (BALANCED SCORECARD) for tracking and performance of the organization.

All these, as well as the recording of corrective actions to address deviations from the expected performance and the continued support of the organization for a considerable time make the method very reliable as ASPROFOS has proven to large organizations in Greece and Cyprus.
